Yentl van Stokkum

Yentl van Stokkum (1991) is a playwright and poet. She studied at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, and her work has been published in De Tirade, on Samplekanon and Hard/hoofd. In 2017, she was selected to participate in the Dutch Foundation for Literature’s Slow Writing Lab, where she began writing poetry about Emily Brontë. Her collection Ik zeg Emily  (I Say Emily) was published by Uitgeverij Hollands Diep in March 2021. Yentl is also participating in the talent development programme by De Nieuwe Oost | Wintertuin.
