Randa Awad

Randa Awad is a writer and a storyteller, she came from Syria, of Palestinian origin. She is living in Utrecht with her two daughters.  Awad writes short stories, poetry, theater, and articles. In 2018 she published her book Homeland, Bread and Memory. In 2021 her book Hide and Seek was published, and she participated the collection of short stories and poems Iemand zette gewoon het licht aan (Wintertuin, 2021). She is writer in residence at Residenties in Utrecht. As an international artist living in Utrecht, she regularly collaborates with international artists.
